Banshu Hamono's floral scissors

Details

The Ikebana Floral Scissors are traditionally used for Japanese floral arrangements and may be used for other delicate floral arrangements.

The blades are set at an acute angle in order to cut cross-sections without crushing plant fibers, allowing for flowers to absorb water more easily and hence live longer.

Due to the handmade nature of the product, any irregularity/imperfection does not consider as a defect.

Use & care

Packaged in a lightweight paulownia wood box and wrapped in assorted Banshu fabric. Fabric is each unique and at random.

Extreme care is advised when handling the knife.

Like all carbon steel tools/knives, they can rust if not cared for properly.  Please make sure to wipe them clean and dry after use.  If you're planning on storing them for an extended period of time, we recommend oiling them with Tsubaki (camelila) oil or mineral oil.
